First impression of the November box: Pretty impressed and surprised. I mean, who wouldn't be happy to see more items in their box to try out. There're 6 products in this month's box! 1 more item to sample compared to the previous one. So exciting!
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar:
Shade that was sent to me is 'Interlace'. I was so happy to receive a full-sized lip tar! A really pleasant surprise! Shade is pretty wearable by itself, compared to some of the more 'loud' shades in the range. One thing I really like about this brand is that they promote 100% vegan and cruelty-free products. Which means less to no chemicals in their products! Awesome! From all reviews that I've seen from Youtube, 'a little goes a long way' is a really suitable tagline for this product! Am really happy with this product. But I'm not sure whether I would go on and buy more shades since I'm not a lipstick person.
Skinfactory Eye Dream Honey Patch:
Eye patch? I love 'em! Although I don't own a lot of eye patches, I love using them! They are so relaxing for areas around the eyes. Before using this product, I popped it in my fridge to chill it out. And it was awesome! So refreshing afterwards! My under eye areas felt soft and nice, yet I believe this sort of product is for temporary results? So yeah, if you need a boost when your eyes are feeling droopy and tired, you might wanna try this out. I have no idea where else to get this though..
Duchess Marden Damascena Anti-Wrinkle Serum:
Hmmm.. I'm not quite sure what to say about this product. I'm only 21~~~~~~ I don't really have any wrinkles yet.. I guess? Nonetheless, I tried it out and the smell made me wanna sleep right away. Smelt like some kind of essence. And I'm not quite sure I see any results.... Definitely not something I would purchase during my 20s. :)
Korres Guava Body Butter:
Not a fan of body butters. They stay on your skin for so long they don't get absorbed in! It goes for this as well. A really thick butter, hard to spread and does not absorb for a long time. I guess this is more suitable for people with really dry skin, or people who lives in countries that has winter. I really don't think anyone really need a cream that thick for your body.. Smelt nothing like guava, only like butter. But then again, I've only tried it once, can't say more. :P
Davines Momo Shampoo and Conditioner:
Like what I've mentioned in the previous review for Bellabox, I don't really like using conditioners, but to be honest this 2 products are pretty nice to use. The shampoo isn't that drying (but more drying compared to my other shampoo), and the conditioner worked really nicely with it. My hair felt really soft! But one thing that I kinda hate about this product is the smell. It is soooo strong! I think it smelt like almonds? Can't really decipher the smell, but I was really annoyed by it the first time I used it. But after subsequent uses, I kinda got used to the smell, still annoying but not to the point of dizziness. Might purchase the conditioner..
Final Verdict of November Box:
Pretty happy with most of the products sent this month. Product that I really hoped that they did not send me is the anti-wrinkle serum. I'm 21 still. :( Favourite product would be the OCC Lip Tar definitely. A full-size item will make anyone happy! :)
