December's Bellabox is the Party In Style edition!

Since it's the most festive month of the year, Bellabox has sent us awesome items to use to bring out our festive moods, YAY!

First impression of the December box: So excited! Just like the previous month, they've sent us 6 items instead of 5, along with a cute little pack of jelly beans! They really do know how to make their subscribers happy! This month's box was so filled, and I'm so excited to see a small little OPI nail polish, as well as Savoir Faire's lipstick, which was included in the first box of Bellabox.au!

Sothys [W.]™+ Brightening Fluid and Brightening Mask:

Faust's Potion Awake & Asleep Hangover Cure
I tried drinking this "potion" in the morning after a long night working on my projects. And.. I really didn't like the taste of it. It has a sorta bitter taste to it, and the "orange flavour" wasn't obvious. And the thing is it didn't help me stay awake for the day! Was pretty disappointed with this product...

OPI Not Like The Movies
This is a silver-ish greyish purple-undertoned nail polish with a bit of shimmery glitter. I would prefer it with more glitter, since Bellabox is going with the theme of partying in style. But I guess it makes it a little more wearable for normal days since it's not that over the top. Pretty colour still!

Savoir Faire Lipstick
The colour that they've sent me is in Miss You, a very wearable frosty pink, with a vanilla scent. This shows that they do read the beauty profile that you have done in the profile page at Bellabox's webpage. Even though they might say this is the month to add in some reds into your routine, I guess I'm still not courageous to do that yet. This pink is perfect for me!

Eylure Sex and the City

I was pretty shocked to see a box of faux lashes in the box, even though there can't be any sample-sized lashes to begin with.. But probably because of the size, the box looked filled, which is something that makes girls excited. HEHE. However, these lashes are slightly over-the-top for me, even though the other lashes are much more dramatic.

Free gift, Jelly Beans!
It's so lovely of them to add in a small little gift, and what's more, it's my favourite jelly beans! In pink! Though not a big fan of pink, it does brighten up my day! Talk about small little details that they put in. :)

Final Verdict of December Box:
Pretty exciting box for December. By including full-sized products, Bellabox just made a lot of subsribers happy! Was pretty satisfied with the products except for the Faust's Potion. It really didn't work for me.

The story follows a teenage girl named Tally Youngblood who lives three hundred years from now in a futuristic city. Previously to the book, our world (known as the "Rusty World" because at the time we have used so much metal that over time had deteriorated and rusted) had collapsed because of the creation of an "oil bug" that caused oil to combust when it came into contact with oxygen. The people who survived the collapse decided that action had to be taken to prevent this happening in the future. The survivors then spread out into cities, where they gradually became self sufficient and eco-friendly, and integrated the operations into the world. One of the main points of the operation is to extend the halo effect to all citizens, which was an idea that beautiful people had better fortune. This "halo effect" helped in reducing disputes and violence. They were not satisfied enough with the results, so they decided to develop a brain lesion (purposely damaged brain tissue) that made people compliant and pleasant. Some people became aware of the operation, and the lesions, and decided that they couldn't live in a place where something of that magnitude was happening. Villages like "The Smoke" were established to give citizens a place to go to avoid the lesions, and to be separated from society. The Smoke was also a place where two outlaw doctors named Maddy and Az studied how people who didn't have the brain damage behaved to determine its effects and possibly discover a cure.

Anyone read this trilogy? I've just finished the first book Uglies, and I'm so so so excited to read the next book, Pretties. Can't wait to see what happens when Tally goes back to have the operation. Omg~ gahhhh~

Description: Paul & Joe's famous "cat lipstick" was released as a limited edition item in the Claire de Lune A/W 2010 collection. The Lipstick C 068 shade is called "Moon Shadow;" it's a raspberry pink with gold flecks. The finish is moisturizing and glossy with semi-sheer color. It's a very wearable color that would be flattering on almost every skintone.

How cute how cute how cute how cute is this!!! Even though I don't wear lipstick, collecting this awesome product is cool too!

I'm back for another review of Bellabox, November edition!

List of products in November Box 2: Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar, Skinfactory Eye Dream Honey Patch, Duchess Marden Damascena Anti-Wrinkle Serum, Korres Guava Body Butter and Davines Momo Shampoo and Conditioner.

First impression of the November box: Pretty impressed and surprised. I mean, who wouldn't be happy to see more items in their box to try out. There're 6 products in this month's box! 1 more item to sample compared to the previous one. So exciting!

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar:
Shade that was sent to me is 'Interlace'. I was so happy to receive a full-sized lip tar! A really pleasant surprise! Shade is pretty wearable by itself, compared to some of the more 'loud' shades in the range. One thing I really like about this brand is that they promote 100% vegan and cruelty-free products. Which means less to no chemicals in their products! Awesome! From all reviews that I've seen from Youtube, 'a little goes a long way' is a really suitable tagline for this product! Am really happy with this product. But I'm not sure whether I would go on and buy more shades since I'm not a lipstick person.

Skinfactory Eye Dream Honey Patch:
Eye patch? I love 'em! Although I don't own a lot of eye patches, I love using them! They are so relaxing for areas around the eyes. Before using this product, I popped it in my fridge to chill it out. And it was awesome! So refreshing afterwards! My under eye areas felt soft and nice, yet I believe this sort of product is for temporary results? So yeah, if you need a boost when your eyes are feeling droopy and tired, you might wanna try this out. I have no idea where else to get this though..

Duchess Marden Damascena Anti-Wrinkle Serum:
Hmmm.. I'm not quite sure what to say about this product. I'm only 21~~~~~~ I don't really have any wrinkles yet.. I guess? Nonetheless, I tried it out and the smell made me wanna sleep right away. Smelt like some kind of essence. And I'm not quite sure I see any results.... Definitely not something I would purchase during my 20s. :)

Korres Guava Body Butter:
Not a fan of body butters. They stay on your skin for so long they don't get absorbed in! It goes for this as well. A really thick butter, hard to spread and does not absorb for a long time. I guess this is more suitable for people with really dry skin, or people who lives in countries that has winter. I really don't think anyone really need a cream that thick for your body.. Smelt nothing like guava, only like butter. But then again, I've only tried it once, can't say more. :P

Davines Momo Shampoo and Conditioner:
Like what I've mentioned in the previous review for Bellabox, I don't really like using conditioners, but to be honest this 2 products are pretty nice to use. The shampoo isn't that drying (but more drying compared to my other shampoo), and the conditioner worked really nicely with it. My hair felt really soft! But one thing that I kinda hate about this product is the smell. It is soooo strong! I think it smelt like almonds? Can't really decipher the smell, but I was really annoyed by it the first time I used it. But after subsequent uses, I kinda got used to the smell, still annoying but not to the point of dizziness. Might purchase the conditioner..

Final Verdict of November Box:
Pretty happy with most of the products sent this month. Product that I really hoped that they did not send me is the anti-wrinkle serum. I'm 21 still. :( Favourite product would be the OCC Lip Tar definitely. A full-size item will make anyone happy! :)

Has anyone heard of Bellabox? Youtube-makeup-addicts are probably familiar with Birchbox? Ingrid a.k.a. missglamorazzi on youtube has talked about Birchbox a lot in her videos.

Bellabox is similar to Birchbox, using the same subscription concept. So you pay this amount (SGD15 for Bellabox, USD10 for Birchbox) every month, and they will send you a box with 5 luxury brand samples ranging from makeup to skincare to haircare. When I first saw the ad on Facebook, I was sooo tempted to try it out as Birchbox only caters to US residents. And Bellabox caters both to Australia and Singapore! One more thing that made me even more tempted was the rewards system. As Bellabox is a new company, they've decided to give subscribers of the first limited edition box 200 free points! 200 pts = $20 which I can use to spend on their online shop! How tempted i was!

I know it's November now and I've only decided to blog about the October Box today. (Yea, I've gotten by box last month)

They've sent me October Box I according to the beauty profile questionnaire that I've filled in at the account page.

List of products in October Box I: Esprit D'Oscar Eau de Parfum Spray, Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo and Conditioner, OPI Avojuice Skin Quenchers and Twist Band Hair Ties.

Esprit D'Oscar Eau de Parfum Spray:
I have never own a perfume before and this got me really excited. Perfume for me? Hah! It really is a luxury item for me as I don't really need one. This perfume smells really classic, it doesn't give any of the nonsense scents (e.g. floral, fruity). This, I can say, is a really classy scent. And to be honest I really like it. It can help to make me feel extra special on special occasions. ;)

Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo and Conditioner:
I have no problems not using any conditioner my entire life, so the conditioner was pretty much useless to me (at least that was my first impression). I went ahead to try out the shampoo and OH BOY it smells real good! Smells really minty and fresh when lathering the product on my hair. Feels alright UNTIL when i started rinsing off the shampoo. It immediately felt really dry! I've felt the same way for the 3 times that I've tried the product. It felt really annoying! I guess that's where the conditioner plays a big role. The conditioner did help with the dryness of my hair, but like I've mentioned, conditioning my hair is an extra step in my routine and I don't see a need in doing that as my hair feels nice and fine even though i have friggin' long hair. So yea, not really impressed with it. D:

OPI Avojuice Skin Quenchers:
I've recently been trying to keep away from fragrances and bad chemicals in my skincare products due to many reasons. (The Story Of Cosmetics if you are interested) (fragrances are one of the things you should avoid D:) But I still went ahead to try it out. Before using this hand cream, I've been loving the CURE Natural Aqua Gel's hand lotion. (That is the only non-greasy lotion I HAVE EVER USED. Friggin' amazing. But not for sale :C ) I've gotten the Cran & Berry Juice one and it smells like candy, and I don't really like the smell... I could have love it more if they sent another flavour. But oh well. As for non-greasy to the touch, for now it comes second on my chart. Feels pretty good when the product dries off. I am very picky about my hand creams to the point where I feel grease on my hands when others don't. But I do like this product, minus the smell.

Twistband Hair Ties:
My first reaction when I saw this "thing" in my box was ---> D: are you serious?! I mean, IT IS JUST ANOTHER HAIR TIE. D: how good can it be. I went on to read the description given and they claim that this hair tie does not leave ugly marks on your wrists when you're just hanging them there. I went ahead and try it out. Works just like another other hair tie. Even more D: But one thing I've realised was, I've been hanging them on my wrists ever since I've got them. It's almost like a must have item on my wrists. I guess it subconsciously makes you feel that it is actually a good product. But if one fine day, I feel like buying a hair tie, I would not buy this. It is so expensive! 3 hair ties for $6.50? Oh come on! I don't think it is worth that much seriously. D:

Final Verdict of October Box:
To me it didn't feel like it is a limited edition box. I could see these kind of products from a normal Bellabox, but definitely not a limited edition one. The Australia Bellabox limited edition box really is amazing! The products are all really exclusive and they even included a full-sized lip-stick! But I'll continue subscribing cause there is a very big chance that they're including OCC Lip Tars in the November box! So excited!

Once again,

I'm not doing my work. Have some stuffs due on Friday for Ding Tai Fung! And I kinda drift off to take photos of my latest buys. Nah, not like just received yesterday, it arrived like last week. Just an update of my oh-my-god-so-boring life. Yeah.

The only item that I kinda hate is the Owl Earring. Yea, looks pretty gross. No idea what was with me when I clicked the "Add to cart" button. Dang. Another item I might have problem with is the Camera Necklace. Pretty heavy. But I've worn it out the whole day today and it turns out quite fine.

And boy I have been loving my work life so far. Love the people there. ALL SO NICE its unbelievable. Starting to feel the 归属感 over there. Don't feel like leaving for another job. :O

I'm pretty amazed by myself.

There's a meeting tomorrow for me to show my finished draft in the morning. (there's another one on Tuesday too!) I'm not yet done with it, and I'm still not panicking and I'm even here blogging. Am I giving up or what? I hope not? Damn, I just hope Cobb from Inception could come into my dream and do an inception on me to make me work harder!

I can't wait for my pay even though I haven't really planned what I'm gonna spend with it. Mac Pro? Olympus Pen? Too ex too ex. I'll need another month's pay to feel more comfortable spending it. Damn, what can i do with the money when I don't even have the time to spend it! :(

I bought an Instax Mini 7~ Am so in love with it omg.

What a lovable looking toy! How can anyone not love it! And i've even bought a vintage looking pouch to contain it. :D:D:D

Mine is in Light Brown shade. :) But I've kinda regretted a bit for not buying the full white limited edition one for the polaroid, cause the pink portion of the one i bought can be seen when it's in the camera pouch and it's not as good looking as the one in full white. :( But then again, I've saved $20 for not buying the limited edition one.

Where the heck is Civic Plaza??!?!? :(

But then again, perhaps it might be a.. blessing in disguise... or maybe not. We ended up wandering all around Iluma and tadah, we ended up at Level 7, which has an arcade as well as a OMFGHUGE lanshop.

And guess what! The arcade is pretty amazing! There are machines that can (i feel) be able to substitute Jackpot Machines. Awesome find for my mama. Lmao, but obviously I'm not gonna let her know of this place la. Just in case she gets addicted to the games and don't wanna cook for us anymore. Oh the dilemma.

And yeap, here's this interesting game which you kinda have to use your credits to shoot and capture fishes. The more kilograms of fishes you get, the more credits you get, and the more fishes you can catch. Kinda like using credits to earn more credits to play longer? No idea if those credits can end up to become real cash or what. But yeah, it'll make people stay long enough to play the whole day?

Teeheehee. And as usual, we got damn bored and ended up going to Gera's house to cook some dinner. Gah, our lives are so boring!

Menu:

Steamed Tofu with Minced Meat. (Gera says it tastes like alcohol...)

Enoki Mushrooms wrapped with Bacon Streaks. Yum yum! Simple and tasty dish. No addition of condiments needed!

Pan-fried Gyoza. Perhaps we should try DIY gyozas ourselves next time!

Baked Portobello Mushroom. Another simple and tasty dish! Only a sprinkle of salt is added! (But Gera don't like mushrooms! Awww)

Things to do!

I'm sorry. But I seriously cannot wait to leave ComNet. I'll be a much happier person when I'm 'released' from that awful situation. Yeap, you guys can be good friends, but perhaps not good colleagues, you know what i mean? Or maybe it's just me.

I feel I'm underpaid. I feel very upset. I am very unhappy working like that. I need a newer office laptop. I complain in my heart too much. I don't let out my feelings. I feel very fake in office. I don't feel like a part of them. I hate the way they work. I hate the things I do there. I need improvements. I don't want to be part of them. I cannot stop complaining. I want to feel my passion back. I feel nothing for the company. I feel nothing for them. I need to leave.

All i can blame is myself. Sigh. I'm just not up for this kind of environment.

Nevermind! I'll be meeting Jian Mao soon! I miss her so much! As well as those awesome peeps at TTP! Yay~ Can't wait!

More phood, more phood.

First up, Daebak Restaurant @ Wilkie Edge.

Chloe ordered Kimchi Soup.

I ordered BBQ Chicken Rice.

And Geraldine ordered BBQ Pork Rice.

Overall the food's pretty average, each dish costing around 4 - 5 bucks (those that we ordered). And it's still a mystery to us as to why the sauce of BBQ Chicken Rice and BBQ Pork Rice can be soooooo different?!

Next up, same old Organic Vegetarian Food Stall @ Fortune Centre. (Yes, I am not sure of the name of the shop. Never really seem to go notice it. Aiya, food's good can already!) Here's a compilation of the dishes me and Chloe ordered these few days. I guess we have tried almost 75% of the main dishes already!

Nasi Lemak: Rice is tooo coconut-ish for my liking. Side dishes are ok too. Just an alright dish.

Chloe's Cold Tofu. (but she asked for a warmer version) Looks pretty much like a disaster on the bowl, but definitely a must try. And it is very filling!

Hakka's Lei Cha: Mmm, I've only tried Lei Cha once and I remembered I didn't quite like the soup, or more like I'm not used to the minty flavour the soup gives. If you're a fan of a too minty kinda Lei Cha, this one would probably suit you better compared to other places. Oh and the serving is HUGE! Recommended: 2 persons per bowl.

Cold Soba Noodles: Still one of my favourite dishes from this stall. Yummy sauce! (But Chloe thinks its too sweet for her) Still, MUST TRY MUST TRY!

Chloe's $8 Baked Brown Rice. Yea, it's her second time ordering without looking at the price. Man. But this dish is actually worthed the money! The cheese on the side are so crispy! (only on Daily's Special Menu)

Oh this, totally random. My colleague brought us this super cute cookie from 台湾高雄 for us!

Yea, pretty boring entry. My life's getting boring each day. FML!

Cleared the stupid office laptop. The previous user is mad untidy! LOOK!

Now it's much more tidy now!

But still, I hate the office laptop. Fking laggy! Even though I've cleared a lot of useless stuffs that the previous users left behind, it's still damn slow. And it's definitely not helping me when everyone is rushing their stuffs and need me to design this and that. Damn fucked up.

But nevermind. I'm leaving soon. Going back to my Oh-So-Awesome Intern Company. Can't wait to go back and help them again! All the wonderpool people over there. :D

Happy Birthday Pudding and Jonathan!

Had an awesome day hanging out with them to celebrate their birthday! Went to With a Pinch of Salt @ Tanjong Katong Rd. Went there before with Eeks and we both totally loved the place! Simply lighthearted atmosphere, cutesy cartoonish graphics all over the place! :D And we'd actually wanted to go celebrate there for Pudding's birthday the previous year but they were closed! (and we almost had to change place again this year as they told us they were going to have a function from 7pm to 10pm.) So in the end we chose to have lunch instead and tadah! Here are the pics! Had been working for Osage for quite a while. And this time, I've helped out with their PLAY: ART FROM MYANMAR TODAY exhibition. Quite a while ag
o, and I've just transferred the photos only now lmao. Went for the opening reception. Damn, should have photographed the food there. THEY SERVE PORTOBELLO BURGER! Damn yummy omg. Ok, let the pictures do the talking.

(We were helping this artist, Soe Niang, to staple all this works to the wall.)

Pretty interesting exhibition, pretty worthed it to go check it out! (unless you're lazy to climb the 100+ steps up to Mount Sophia ;P )

Oh and was helping out with the Mothers' Day event at Tampines One before going for Osage. We were supposed to teach some kids how to do finger printing on cards, and a material called something like Mulberry (no idea of the actual spelling) And omg I when I was introducing to the kids, I SAID MARLBORO LOL! Lucky they're still too young to notice. HAHAHAHA.

Anyways, this small little girl kept following me when I was teaching the other kids. Her granny didn't register her for the tutorial and she ended up following me passing me some stick thing.

But pretty sad ending for her. She fell down twice and started crying damn loudly. Oh wells.

This time I've ordered Vegetarian Sushi and Tau Pok Salad. BOTH ARE AWESOME YET AGAIN. The Sushi was freshly made with all those yummy veggies and when you bite at it, all the juice comes out! Mad awesome! And as for the Tau Pok Salad, the tau pok was oven baked until golden brown and super crispy! When you bite at it, you can get both the crispiness of the tau pok and the crunchiness of the veggies, along with the awesome soury sweet sauce. Both are highly recommended! Vegetarian Sushi ($3.50), Tau Pok Salad ($2.30)

And WeeBee ordered some udon dish. Forgot what's the proper name for this dish. I'm not a fan of udon so yeap I can go without this dish. =x. Still, there's loads more to try! There was this Daily Special dish, Vegetarian Ba Kut Teh, for today!

Oh yeah, while on the way to work today, I was on the MRT standing near to some seats which are quite near to the sliding doors of the MRT. And I SAW THIS FKING FUNNY WOMAN SLEEPING IN A WAY LIKE KENNA ORGASM SIA.

Almost like this woman, but much worse... And the movement of her whole body... seriously like having orgasm omg. And the funny part was when the auntie sitting beside her saw the lady in "orgasmic action", she got fucking stunned HAHHAA. Then she stared at her and frown. Mad funny incident!

Oh and today was quite an interesting one. Morning was bad bad bad! Felt super sick and claustrophobic! Wanted to vomit damn badly. No idea if it was due to the late night sleep last night or not. Or perhaps it was due to the sudden load of work piling up just because I didn't go for work for a day. Damn.

And so I faster chiong my work and go out for a walk and lunch. Went to Fortune Centre to eat at the awesome organic vegetarian food stall. I've tried it a couple of times with WeeBee and I must say. ITS FREAKING AWESOME! Previously I've tried Fried Brown Rice and Korean Bibimbap (vegetarian duh). While this time, I had Pineapple Fried Brown Rice. Another stunning dish!

Oh and I haven't mention to many yet, but I'm trying to cut down on the intake of meat. Probably gonna turn Pesatarian and hopefully a Vegetarian... And I believe with this stall continuing to provide awesome vegetarian food, I will be able to cut down by a whole lot!

After the meal and walk back to office, I've gotten more energy to work!

And whee, when I came back home, all my online shopping items came at the same time! How wonderful. All my wonderful clothes, ELF products. :D

I've never thought of myself buying Avène products. I still remember that day when I saw all these Avène products on Serena's table and she told me how she was brainwashed by this saleslady. And woah, now its my turn.

Previously I've actually went to Guardian to look for eye cream and this lady starting introducing me to Nouvelle's eye cream, but I wasn't convinced. So yadah yadah, went back without buying.

And today, another lady came to introduce my to Avène's Soothing Eye Contour Cream. And I chatted with her a bit. AND I BOUGHT IT. And it's much more expensive than the Nouvelle's one. Oh well, looks like my mind isn't really stable today.

I've realised that the inner part's of my eye is starting to develop fine lines! Ah the horror! Now I know how it feels like when you're getting older. I know I've still yet to reach 20. But I will in like a month's time. Can you imagine?! Fine lines when I'm this young. Bleagh.

It has been a weird Wednesday.

Got a few messages in the morning about Carolyn. Got pretty lost at the point of time. It's like the first time I've experienced losing a friend, though not close. Still, having the thought that she's gone forever just kinda dawn on me that life is damn fragile. I know she has always been with that fked up illness, but I never would have imagined it to kill her so soon. She's still so young..

Oh and while feeling emo and all that depressing thoughts, emails about parties came in. Sam emailed about our class bbq on the coming Monday, and Mr Tan emailing about graduation ceremony, with jokes in it. The whole mood was totally off. Had no idea how to react to each situation. No mood to finish reading all the mails.

And then the once in a while spree discount offer came. And the due time to submit order was pretty soon. Wtf where got mood to shop sia. It felt as though god was playing a prank on me, testing my reactions.

Oh and when going for lunch, I saw EDITH CHUA while crossing the road. I haven't met her ever since the Secondary School Graduation and now, to meet her on this day. It just felt really really weird.

And then this job offer came. Someone from ArtZone called to tell me I got shortlisted.

It just so felt like everything is predestined? I'm definitely not thinking too much because all these just won't happen in my life in just 1 day.

So so weird.

P.S. R.I.P Carolyn. You will be missed.

Day 4

Wehhehheee! Day 4's morning was freaking awesome!!!! Woke up early with LiQin to brush teeth and wanted to bathe (secretly...cause they told us we can't as they knew it would be snowing... and we would freeze if we bathe...) But when we stepped out of the house, WOOOO~ Snow everywhere!! Us 2 were freezing like mad with just our PJs on! And i think LiQin damn hiong can... she still can walk bare footed on the snow! Secret to keeping warm... KIM JAE JOONG.

Day 3

Early morning once again. Can't find any images of my breakfast from my camera. I suppose its another buffet style breakfast and most probably can't be bothered to take any images. =x

And so, on the bus again. First stop for the day: Shirakawa Riverhead.

Day 2

Woke up damn early in the morning! At around 6am local time? Meaning it's 5am in Singapore. Woooohohohohoo. First time waking up that early in the morning. So what's for breakfast? Buffet style! ~_~

And so after our wonderful breakfast, we're off to our first destination for the day, TOYOTA Motors Kyushu Factory.

Kyushu, Japan

Went to Kyushu for 8 days with NYP SDN kids for some educational trip. It was awesommemmemememmememememmememeee!!! So many interesting things we did! Shall slowly blog. :)

Day 1

Earliest flight ever had. 1am? ZZZ. Reached Japan at around 8am, local time. Then, straight away go off to take the bus to Kitakyushu to visit the Kokura Castle and experience Japanese Tea Ceremony.

I am super disappointed now, most importantly by 2 things.

1. Wheesung's performance of 눈물 쏟고 또 쏟고 (Tears Keep Flowing and Flowing)

I've always loved Wheesung's vocals like seriously in love with it. Listened to his latest album, and whoot! Fantastic vocals with combination of awesome lyrics and tunes. My no. 1 favourite song is 눈물 쏟고 또 쏟고 (Tears Keep Flowing and Flowing)! And it got me so excited to see know that Wheesung is starting to promote that song! (after "Trickling")

Checked out the video, and fking disappointed!!! What is wrong with his hair! What is wrong with the choreography? What is wrong with his "HEY, HEY, AH, AH" in the verses!? It's supposed to be quite a sad song! (actually i just felt it that way, but i've checked out the translations of the lyrics. IT IS A SAD SONG! WHY WHEESUNG WHY! I'm just taking it that you've just recovered from H1N1 and is a tad unstable for performances. But then again, those aren't the things that people would normally do when they're sick. :( I'm really sad. Coz it's my favourite song from the album and he kinda like... destroyed it? Seriously not feeling the performance at all. There's no emotion to it. :(

2. Ending of "You're Beautiful"

I've been addicted to this drama!! And they've just finished subbing the last few episodes and I've catched them all. BUT! What is wrong with the ending! It just ended so freaking quickly, like in a rush!

1. Tae Kyung accepted his mother's apology almost immediately, as though he never think properly if he should accept it or not.

Hey! This mama of his had abandoned him for his whole life ok! And always full of sarcasms in front of him, and always keep telling tae kyung about this guy that she loved so much, till the extent of her abandoning tae kyung. WHAT KIND OF MAMA IS THIS! And she even twisted facts of her past! The man that she loved deeply did not love her back! And she make it sound as though this man is also deeply in love with her, and even made her a song. Ew gross. Stop it woman, its gross. People who watch the show all knows that the separation of Go Mi Nam and Hwang Tae Kyung is almost 100% because of what she said. BOOO.

2. Ending of the series.

So the ending part was: GMN went to A.N.JELL's concert, HTK sang her a song (the song which his mama claimed the man made it for her). HTK searched for GMN who was standing as an audience. HTK found her, went to her in front of everyone, hugged her. Next scene: HTK and GMN stargazed, talked about stars, bit of lovey dovey talks. THE END.

~_~ So unsatisfied! Episode 14 and 15 were pretty good. And even the starting part of 16 was not bad. BUT WHY. The ending spoiler sia!!!! :(

But nvm, HTK has been so awesome throughout the whole show! From hating him at the start, till loving him like mad at the end. Awesome actor!

Jang Geun Suk (HTK) IS SOOO CUTE~!!!!!!! Love his pouts!

So sad omg!

Am so looking forward to their performances on inkigayo cause i think Inki's camera crew are way better than MB's and MC's. They always capture the right moments at the right timings. Awesome crew and PDs! MB and MC's sucked like mad! They always miss the "right" shots! Those losers.

SeeYa – His Voice

Pretty good song. But i don't think they manage to showcase the vocals of the new addition to the group, Soomi, as what they claimed was awesome. Too much auto-tuning for the part where Soomi sings. Sad, and she didn't get to sing as much as the other 2 pro girls. Oh well, still, not bad for their comeback! Go Seeya!

Hwanhee – Because I Missed Your Heart

Another of my favourite voices in KPOP. Hwanhee!!! How awesome is his vocals!?! Awesome like always la! Great comeback too!

T-ara & Supernova – T.T.L (Listen 2)

Are the guys going for the school kids look? Haha! Soyeon and Eunjung are shining like mad recently! Go Eunjung for rocking your short hair! Looks great on you! Somehow i think Boram can just quit T-ara. She just don't blend in well with the group. She's like a small kid trying to fit into them. Oh well. She should work harderrrrrr!

The Sexy Diva is bwack! I haven't heard much about her when i got into the KPOP addict state. Heard that she's pretty famous at the KPOP scene though. And woah, what a sexy song for a comeback! Yesterday was so much fun! And it felt as though i spent 2 days there. There's so many parts of the celebration siol. Lols.

1. Help na set up stuffs.
2. Take care of Dawn and Damien.
3. People start coming in makan.
4. Squatted down with 4Is and makan lol.
5. 4Is separated from the Polys and started drinking.
6. Mini games started.
7. Some 4I 'betrayers' went to join Polys.
8. Mini games continued.
9. Some evil mind thought of going out and chill with Ziyi driving lol.
10. Went out from party, with no one in the room realizing.
11. Went near OCH. Checked out the Bapos. =X Chio worrrrr!
12. Went back, found a seh na who started crying.
13. Mini games continued. More drinking. HIGH LIAO!
14. Peeps from the room next to us asked us to join them in their "mini club" in the room. Mad birthday guy brought a disco ball rofl.
15. Went in to partyyyy! DAMN HIGH! So fun!
16. Annie down. Vomited. Brought her to sleep.

Awesome! It's out! JoKwon and Whale's Dunk Shoot MV is outta baby!

Met my expectation of it! Just that I'm a little bit more greedy. I'd actually hope that the designer put more effort for the chorus part, not repeating the background and the same stuffs the singer does. Almost feel like just copy and paste for all the choruses. A little disappointed in that. But nonetheless, awesome work! Super love the style!

Have one suggestion. Maybe they could add in some scenes with both JoKwon and Whale together, dancing while singing to the song. Isn't that better? ;)

"Dunk Shoot" is a song that was originally titled "Dunk Shot" from Lee Seung Hwan's third album called, "My Story," and it was a hit song in the past.

And now they're doing this HWANTASTIC PROJECT!

What is Hwantastic Project?

Dream Factory Club (founded by Lee Seung Hwan) will partner up with Fluxus Music to promote Lee Seung Hwan's "Hwantastic Project." This project is for Lee Seung Hwan's 20th anniversary since his debut, and will showcase his songs from the past. This project's first work is a song from his 8th album titled "Heart Disease" and it was reinterpreted by artists MC Sniper, Outsider and Horan (Clazziquai).

And the second work is this song, Dunk Shoot!

Check out the MV Teaser before listening to the whole song! Art style is so cool! Can't wait for the whole MV to be out! Cause at first i just skipped the whole article when the song came out in Allkpop, but I did check the MV Teaser out. And whoo! It's so good I'm still listening to it!

Yeah, supposed to be working but unable to concentrate. Anyways, caught the The Time Traveler's Wife yesterday night with BBW and Kristy after work.

For a lot of reasons, the poster just doesn't attract me in any way. The colour combination, the text layouts, the fonts. Blah, just didn't make me want to go check the trailer out and i didn't realise that it was on cinemas even though i went to check Yahoo! Movies several times sadly. But just one fine day, i saw this person reading the book on the MRT, and somehow the way she read the book just made it look really interesting. I don't know what's gone to my mind that day but I just end up searching up on that book and then realise it was showing in cinemas now. What a coincidence. Then went to check out the trailer and I thought the story looked really interesting. And then there i was, watching the show.

So how was it?!

3/5 to me. It's pretty similar to Benjamin Button, except that BB makes you wanna cry more. It's a really interesting story i know. But perhaps this kind of story is more suitable to be in a story book. Idk. The way they shoot it is pretty normal, except the effects they did for the Time Traveler when he travels through time. And also the awesome props they did for the pregnant wife, Rachael McAdams. WTF SIA. She had a really convincing tummy! Now I'm wondering if she really was pregnant when she acted in the movie. Omg, please enlighten me! I don't really catch the news of the entertainment world of America. Oh and there's several funny scenes at when they were all young, due to the fact that he was unable to control his traveling skills.

I haven't been reading books since like what? Sec 4. HahaAHASHAHahaHAHahhah. And somehow i want to read this one. But damn it, all the books are on loan!

And I'm really glad I get to know this magical story.

P.S. I want to say. Eric Bana IS SO AMAZING, whether he's acting the young Henry or the old Henry. He's soooo awesomeeeee! ( in the movie )

P.P.S The movie is ending.... REAL SOON. TMR'S THE LAST DAY IN SINGAPORE ROFL. Or just wait for the DVD. :) It's def. worth watching.

Voices you GAVVVVEEEEE to me~ (in His and Her Situation)

Pretty cool duet of "Listen" by Park Hyo Shin(ieee) and Tei!

Starting was abit jerky. And I don't really like Tei's voice in this duet. Perhaps his pitch range isn't as wide as Park Hyo Shin's, that's why there's quite a few parts where he is unable to reach a note / snaps! And these actually made Park Hyo Shin(ieeee)'s voice shine a lot more! His voice is really awesommeeeee. Omg.... The huskiness of his voice. SWOOONNNN~

And here's another song sang by JunJin, UEE(After School) and Suk Hee. No idea who's Suk Hee though, but the song is pretty good! Although all their voices aren't as powerful as Park Hyo Shin's, there's something in this song that made me want to repeat over and over again. Perhaps it's the beat? Perhaps it's the way JunJin sings it? Perhaps it's the chorus? There's just something there. Can't exactly say what it is though.

G-Dragon First Solo Album

Yayyy~ I've got my G-Dragon album! Was hesitating whether to order online and ship over to me or what. And when i heard Eek's mom was going Korea. -DING! comes the idea. And here it is! Ma Ji Yong's here!

This is perhaps the first album that made me so excited when just holding onto it. There's just something different from the other albums. Firstly, the appearance. I've never seen one album that uses a mold of a person's face to be used as the album cover. Maybe there is this kind of album somewhere around the world, but it's the first time I've seen anyone used this approach. It just gives a interaction to the buyer you see. :D Just like what i can do to it.

Secondly, the amazing graphics for the booklet. I've seen 2NE1's album booklet as well, which pretty much impressed me as well. But perhaps it's a long long time since I've bought an album or actually looked into one. Cause everything looks the same. Didn't want to waste my time. I can see that they've put in effort in doing this. Be it the songs or the album covers and stuffs. Something just tells me I have to get 1 myself. :D

But kinda sad yea, about the plagiarism and stuffs about Ji Yong. I would love to believe that he was just being inspired by other's music and beats and stuffs. I don't want to judge him just like that. I need more evidence! I know the beats are similar,... but i just refuse to believe it just like that. In designer's world, everything pretty much looks similar too. It's not like in Business and Finance where everything has a definite answer to it. Music, design, art, there isn't. Oh well.

I'm still glad I've bought the album. It's definitely going to be one of those items that I'll keep for quite a while. :D

P.S. And about the news on Epik High taunting G-D. I LMAO-ed at it! I know it sounds like they are dissing G-D, but i just feel it's just plain coincidence ya. Hahaha. But the more i listen to it, it gets so funny! Cause it really sound as though they are dissing him. WHhahahaa.

This comeback is so much better than his previous one, which was... Superstar i think. That really sucked. This is way better! This is what you should be doing Taegoon! Anyways, thought the song was pretty normal at first. But it got pretty much stuck in my head the more i listen to it. The beat is really addictive, especially the bridge part. :D

Brown Eyed Girls - Candy Man

Wasn't that addicted to this song compared to their "Abracadabra". But I'm awed by their standard when singing live! Maybe because they don't dance that aggressively compared to 2NE1. But still, great control of vocals!

Park Hyo Shin - After Love

Omg,... I'm so deeply in love with his husky voice! Swoon like mad! And he looked as though he's floating with all the stars surrounding him! So pretty! His performance on Music Core was damn chio too. There's this huge orchestra appearing all of a sudden when all the lights lit up when he reaches the chorus part. Super grand~ :D Totally looked like a prince singing~

Was bored, went on to youtube. Clicked on the recommended section, came upon to this weird girl's channel where she does her own mini show on youtube called AskIJ. Anyways, thats not the main point. Woohoo, finally i can catch my breath and blog! 1 whole week of -ing flyer is killing me! I can't wait to end it. But i want to make it work. ARGH. Frustrating.

Anyways, met up with Vic and Eeky on Friday along with 2 of Eeky's friends, Evelyn and Weiqi. A pretty joyful meet up. Dinner at Meidi-ya, dessert at Nectarie and then chill at YelloJello.

And YelloJello is pretty darn good! There was this live band playing and we kinda got attracted to it and just decided to go in and chill. A pity that Evelyn and Weiqi had to chao earlier for study. :( And we were kinda suay la, we went in, the live band played their last song before going for break and then there's this commercial break thing with 2 guys crossdressing as nyonyas advertising for some event i think. Super funny siol. Oh and afterwards, they played retro upbeat songs! Damn shiok! There's angmohs there dancing on the mini dancefloor shaking like nobody's business. Whahaha, and the way they dance is damn toot one, sibei retro. WHAHaa so fun! Me and eeky were like shaking and dancing on our seats, doing those super retro moves. Hais, pub is so not Vic's thing. She prefers clubbing. Oh well, can see she didn't enjoy that much as i do. =X Damn i wanna go back there and chill! They have live bands from Tues to Sat~ Awesomeeee.

P.S. Ahh, Eeky please send me those delicious looking dessert pictures we took. :)

Went down to check out the editted wedding photos of my bro's. Helped to choose and stuffs. Took pretty long and ended up at Weebee's place at around 3pm. Lols~ Doesn't matter since she's at home doing her illustrations. Oh and i cooked my own mee~ And she gave me 2 cups of different tea. 1 is some orange skin tea and another 1 is pretty cool. It's a flower which is like compressed and when hot water is added, it will slowly expand and the flavours will start to come out. Pretty cool.

Awesome! Daesung's operation was a success. If you haven't been catching up with KPOP news, Daesung was caught in a pretty bad car accident while traveling back home after filming "Family Outing". Poor guy was badly injured, with a nose and spine fracture, followed by an eye injury which was discovered some time after the accident.

2009/07/10 – Friday

Went down to the Singapore Night Festival with na! Omg, freaking cool sia! There was this really cool band which uses chinese orchestra instrument such as the "sheng" with angmoh instruments such as guitar and cello. All i can rmb is the facial expressions on the guy playing the "sheng". Super expressive yo! All attentions on him!

Oh and the highlight of the day! Forgot the title of the performance, but anyways, there were 3 parts to it. First part, was unable to catch it cause we were standing at quite a far far spot from the first stage, all we could see was this woman walking around. Doing what? I have no idea. Second part, pretty cool! 2 guys playing drums, while being rotated 360 degrees all around! Spin spin play play, damn professional. Third part, the best part. There's this super huge wheel with 4 person on it, spinning with the wheel. And spinning is not even enough! They rotated 360 degrees while spinning with it! Ah, hard to explain using words! AND I HAVE NO FREAKING PHOTOS. =X AND AND. THERES FIREWORKS~ And super loads of fireworks! Super pretty~ :D

And we got back home on a cab. XD

Went down to Marina Square to help the future husband-and-wife-to-be to choose their wedding photos taken quite long ago. But before that, got down to Taka to use up the free $30 voucher and also check out the new malls at Somerset, The Orchard Central. Freaky tall building, with freaky long escalators, i shall try it.. some other time.

Had lunch at The Coffee Club for the first time, and the food's not bad! Great displays as well. :)

Yo~ Been quite busy this whole week, rushing panels for installations and stuffs. Printing ah, helping with installation ah, EDM ah,... I think i know why Mirene says she became fatter after working at 实践. =X I can feel it now! AHHHH, the horror.

现在在帮忙《4。48精神崩溃》的东西。演出已经开始了。也看了。我觉得《4。48精神崩溃》是个挺沉重的一部剧。不是每个人回想去看的一般的戏剧。《4。48精神崩溃》是个有关得了抑郁症的一位女生在自己阴暗的世界里的一个戏剧。我觉得郭劲红好棒！她可以一个人单独的演一部长达1小时15分钟的戏耶！超棒的！演技也是一流的！但我觉得时间有一点太长了。看了3／4的戏后就有一点累了。坐在Mirene旁边的一位观众看到一半就睡着了。＝X 他还打呼呢！超夸张的！他还作在导演的后面耶！导演一定超dulan。

Went to SPCA with na just now. Aw mannnnnn i love love love Benji! So tamed, so calm, so fun loving! Damn if i can adopt him i would man. Freaking sweet and nice dog. Blahhh! Pictures coming soon soon~

Oh we got in to the cattery too. Pretty different from the cats at the void deck, and at 实践. They're pretty more wary of people i guess. But there's this particular one that i thought was damn pretty! Ahhhh~ I wanna get a pet~ I wan BENJI. :( HOW CAN ANYONE NOT LIKE BENJI. No idea if he's being abandoned or what. If he is, SCREW THE PERSON WHO ABANDONED HIM. DON'T KNOW HOW TO APPRECIATE HIM ONLY. BLOODY HELL, MAY YOU HAVE THE WORST LIFE YOU CAN EVER HAVE.

2009/07/01 – Wednesday:
Today's day 3 in Theatre Practice. Working there was pretty alright i guess. I think i'm too shy or something? Am always like this in front of strangers. Oh man. Plus they're all older than me! Ahhhh. Man. But was pretty relaxing working over there, maybe cause they haven pass the harder ones to me. Finished some minor designing works already and i think the next will be some poster.

Oh yea. Ms Ong asked Guo Xiong to buy watermelon for me on the first day of work! Hahahaa, can't believe she remembered it! I didn't even remember i asked from her can! =X Oh and we saw this freaking cool auntie on the bus.... playing.... JACKPOT ON IPHONE! LOLS.

Can't really see properly though..

And i found my substitute for Hei Meow le. Here comes... idk its name... Jin Meow for the time being ba! :)

:( BORING DAY. Lol, woke up damn early at Eeky's. And she was still asleep, so we just went back. Stupid host. Blahhhh ahhaaa. And then the rest of the day? On lelouch, on tv, on bed. Had a good sleep from around 3pm till 8pm. SHIOK AHH.

2009/06/17 – Final Presentation
Presentation! Was somewhat really informal.. Was kinda like a pasar malam thing where everyone has to display their stuffs on their own little table, and everyone will go in 1 by 1 to present to the lecturers. One after another went in, somehow the starting ones were pretty serious? My ah kao cried somemore leh! Poor girl. I'm sure she didn't mean what she said man. Then it was my turn. Lol was somewhat panting as i was shitting like before it! Just nice when i rushed back, ngiam ngiam came out and it was my turn. Went pretty weird at first, they looked serious, while i was still catching my breath. Lol then after like a while, some started commenting in chinese. WTF CHINESE>!??! LOL. Suddenly it became so informal! Ah Tan started joking as well. ~_~ But i tried to continue speaking in English despite them speaking in Mandarin. Was probably the most informal presentation I've ever had? Haha.

2009/06/20 – Mirene's 21st BD Celebration
MADNESS! Damn high mannnNNN!N~N!~!~ HAHAHA. Was so much fun! The starting part was pretty boring la. Maybe we reached to early or something. But after the cake cutting, the fun starts!! :D

Played Indian Poker ah, played the Number game ah. Drink drink drink! Play play play! Playing with Mirene's friends was so fun sia! All crazy people! HAHHAA. Playing with Jac they all can be abit scary. Cause i think the game determines the loser so quickly, you'll get drunk easily, plus they never dilute the Bacardi! Hahahahahhaa. But damn fun la to see people start to get seh seh high high. ESPECIALLY MIRENE! THAT CRAZY BITCH LOL. She got so drunk she mixed up the numbers while playing the game. Hahhaa! Everyone had a freaking good laugh cause of that. :D

2009/06/21 – My 19th BD Celebration (Sec Sch)
Pool Pool, Bowl Bowl, Prata Prata. :)

ZL's pool skills.. must say its really "power" man. FLYING BALL! Was fun playing with a bunch of laoya pool skill people HAHHAHAA. All shoot shoot for so long still cannot goal xD. Had a hard time just trying to end the game rofl! Bowl.. :( My skills all gone.

And poor Ziyi, the taxi driver. "Where to go eat ah?", "Don't know leh", "Geylang!", "Don't want la siao!", "Flyer's popeye!", "OK!"... after a while, "Where to eat ar?", "Prata", "Walao don't want!", "T3", "Tampines". Ended up going Casuarina for prata lols!

After dinner, "Go where ah?", "Don't know leh", "Send dou home". After sending.. "Go where ah?", "Drink", "Don't want siao ah", "Park", "Don't want la siao!", "Send me home!". Stopped near some busstop. "Where ah"... -silence- ... "Go park la", "Bus coming", "Ok la park la." Lols..

Ended up strolling in Bishan Park, remembering those days. Omg feel so old =x. Realise there were so many happening things during Sec Sch Days man. So fun. xD Stoned, slacked, chitchatted. After everything, walked home. Lol.....

2009/06/22 – My 19th BD Celebration (Poly)
Had dinner at Secret Recipe. Wanted to go Fig and Olive's but they were closed! :( But i don't mind, since i had a free meal. :) Thanks mary~ Thanks for coming to celebrate my bd. :) Appreciated it though it was just a small dinner gathering kinda thing. :) I know everyone's busy. :)

2009/06/23 – Cash Studio Karaoke Session
:D Damn funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! First time singing non-stop for 5-6hours. ~_~ I think Cash Studio's system rocks! They will just let you continue singing if nobody comes to take the room. And we sang from 1.30 till around 7. HAHAHA. My throat now... can't really speak much now. xD Weeehooo~ Damn fun i wan sing again LOL.

Wah, finally have some time to read KPOP news ah, read ppl's blog ah, slack abit ah, play games for a while ah. Just to let you know, I've been staying till late in school for almost a week nw, if i do stay back again tmr. Earliest 8.45pm, latest 10pm. In case you're wondering why the VCs are so fking busy these days, its due to the one and only project that we're having right now.

Yeap, we know the mock up thing was on the brief (to be shown on friday), but we just thought mock up as in... perhaps like 50% done? Then this fine Monday morning, Ms Tan came in and announced to us that the mock up to be shown must be at least 80% done, what ever formats you want to use for the final presentation MUST be shown on Friday. Any additional stuffs to the mock ups would not be marked. And that kinda freaked us all up. And it kinda scared the hell out of me yea. Did a last min time table for the week and i realised that i had to do so many fking things in this 1 FREAKING WEEK. And tadah, everyday go home late late. And i'm pretty glad i did stay back and chiong like mad cause I'M DONE WITH THE MOCK UPS! The CI part i can say its 80% done. But the poster.... rofl i think its just a 30%? Kinda like a stupid cut and paste poster done by a kid or something. And thanks cky for being my model. I dare not ask my cher to do those poses, or rather, i'm paiseh to ask him.

Anyways, we had this small little photo taking session in Na's house after their mahjong session (i haven touched mahjong for... 1MTH!?!) but the mains are like the guys.. rofl! Camwhorers! I'm having a short free time now before going to bed and i made gifs out of the pics! ENJOY. ROFLS~

Was researching on 3rd world countries issues and i came upon this really scary website, which actually tells you how many people are dying the moment you got into the site. As the numbers start moving up, goosebumps starts to appear i tell you. Damn scary. Flashes of like dead people starting appearing in my head... Damn scary.

:( My Lelouch!!! Died on me today. In case you're wondering who the hell is lelouch, it's ma sweet, cute, suave, white prince MACBOOK. I must have been ill-treating you. And i know i did. :X I can almost feel this coming yea, but i've already to plan to go fix you when the SPM project's done yea. But since you can't take it anymore, time for some spa yea? :)

And i think i'm sibei lucky? Today i was supposed to print the drafts that i did and i saved both the PDF file and also the INDD working file in my thumbdrive! Super lucky! If not how i continue sia, and Mishelle wants to finalise asap. Blah.

But why lelouch! You know what? I actually got some bad feeling and felt i should back up my files first. (I'd wanted to, but hard disk is full of shows) And i also decided to dump all my shows lor! And just nice, before you let me back up, you hanged! And never open again. :(

Nvm, I shall go down to fix you! Hopefully my files can be retrieved back ya. But Mareena told me they didn't manage to retrieve her files back when her's was refusing to on as well! But,... somehow i don't feel the nervousness? I don't know why. It's as though i knew it was coming soon. Hais.

2NE1 has finally released their new song, Fire. Kinda disappointed? Not exactly what i expected. I don't like the chorus ya, it's like... quite plain, compared to the starting part. And with all the teasers and stuffs, it made everyone excited to hear the new song, and the chorus just doubled the disappointment. So heres, the MVs, 1 Space Version and 1 Street Version.

And i must say i really love CL's rapping. Kinda got the stylo milo feel to it, just like what Ji Yong has as well. I think CL's the leader? Not bad not bad. Oh and the 2nd verse, feels really weird. CL's rapping started the 2nd verse. But Minzy's rapping was really different from CL's at that part. Felt kinda like, "eh?". Lols, cause it didn't happen for the 1st verse. Oh well. And Dara looked really cute with that outfit.
